For example, we lack a large grassy area (grin). However, we live near parks with plenty of grass -- this traveling set is perfect for us.Includes basic instructions, nicely made mallets and balls, and wickets. The wickets are plain steel and hard to see; I have thought about spray-painting them white but haven't done it yet. The traveling case has a handle and a shoulder strap. Nice set -- we've had it for about a year and it still looks and works great. 2 of 2 people found the following review helpful  Mallet shafts broken when set arrived, By Amazon Verified Purchase Because it was a relatively inexpensive set, I didn't expect it to be top quality. However, it arrived with three of the shafts cracked and one had been painted over the crack, so it obviously was damaged while being made! That's absurdly shoddy workmanship and highly disappointing. I recommend paying the extra money for a better set. I found nice sets at northmeadow.com for $30 more than this set. |
