It will provide many hours of fun on the ice! It is not as durable as leather broomballs (which tend to cost 50% more), but still reacts well to input when properly inflated. Compared to leather balls in an indoor setting, I think this one reacts similarly to input and is more slippery to grab (which can be a big deal for goalies!).I have not used it in outdoor settings yet, but I expect the synthetic skin will likely crack easily at temperatures below zero F or so. It turned out to be the same ball our league used, which is great. We scuffed up the leather pretty bad by practicing on concrete (hey, ice time is expensive), but it held together. Maybe a rubber ball would be better if you're not playing on ice, but I like the leather balls better overall.
