I've owned two of these canopies. The first one did not have the mesh and the first night after we installed it a storm blew through. It ripped a bit (maybe two inches) where the elastic ties attach to the roof. This got me thinking about what to do to prevent further ripping during the next storm. What I came up with was bungee cords. I bought 6 of the 24 inch cords from Home Depot. I wrapped each cord once around the outer ring at each exposed point at the end of each spoke. I then took the hooks on each end of the bungee and attached them to the zip ties that were originally holding the elastic. Now the stress of the wind would be put on the bungee cords and the plastic ring at the lip instead of the sewn in loops on the canopy itself. Several storms came through and I watched out the window as the canopy would lift from the top of the safety net and bobble back and forth, but always settling back where it had started. 1.0 out of 5 stars Cheap and disappointed, December 29, 2011

I am disappointed in many ways by this cover. First, I did not realize the gray portions are mesh. I was hoping it would keep more rain off the trampoline which it does not. Secondly, the green portion is a very cheap material and it tore in places before it was even assembled. The day after we installed it on our trampoline, we had a little wind, maybe 20 mph gusts, and it tore the loops the connectors are attached to, and it ended up hanging on by 1 cord and it busted one of the poles. The next day I was trying to "fix" it and one of the poles poked through the sleeve it terminates in. I strongly recommend you do not purchase this product unless you plan on taking it on and off every time you want to use the trampoline.
