The netting that came with my Walmart trampoline lasted all of about 6 months in the AZ sun before it started tearing. I repaired the rips but it was futile. The fabric netting was dry-rotted. Can't really complain since the entire 14ft trampoline with enclosure was $160.00 on the Black Friday deal. Ordered this unit and was worried I received the wrong one since I ordered the 14ft net and the tag on the net I received said 16ft. I double-checked my order & decided to install it. The net was the right size and very tight. For installation, I recommend starting your weave at the bottom 1 foot to the left of the zipper opening (with zipper closed & buckles secured)and then working your way around counter-clockwise. I started at the right-bottom of the zipper and worked my way around. When I got all the way around to the bottom left of the zipper and I had to pull really hard. I finally opened the package hoping to use the netting, but it was not 14 feet as was described in advertising, not even 12 feet, smaller then that. We had a 14' Bouncepro trampoline purchased at Walmart. The nets with those are very cheap to say the least. I think after a month or two, it developed its first big rip. I would sew the rips up, but it was a never ending process. This net is good quality and I expect it to last a long time. We've had it about 6 months and no signs of rips or anything. I do see some slight stretching at a few spots where the kids have basically layed into the net. The material in the net is the same as what's on the arch supports of the original bouncepro net, it's fine weaved black slightly stretchable material. It's been tested because I have 2 rambunctious boys ages 6 and 3 and they play football, dodgeball and wrestle on the trampoline. It has worked great, it's a pretty good price and couldn't be happier....definitely recommended. |
